Emergent meeting of Baltana Chemists Association…
Today in an emergent meeting of Baltana Chemist Assosiation held under the President ship of Amardeep Sawhney and under the chairmanship of Davinder Rawat Strongly protest the decision of Central Government to allow the sale of OTC medicines without License in market.
Punjab Chemist Association and President of Mohali District Chemist Association Amardeep Singh and General Secretary Vikram Thakur also written the letters and protested.
The central Government decision to allow the sale of OTC medicines without license will not only adversely affect the Chemist trade but it will also promote the misuse and unethical use of OTC medicines.
In this back ground we strongly protest this decision of Central Government and demand to revoke it. Otherwise if needed Chemists may go on strike on the call of All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists and Punjab Chemist Association.
