Captivating Sufi concert by Manish Kabir to mark 94th Birth anniversary celebrations of Guru M.L. Koser, Founder ,Pracheen Kala Kendra….
To mark the special occasion of 94th birth anniversary of its founder Late Shri Madan Lal Koser, a special evening of sufi music was organized by Pracheen Kala Kendra here today at 6:30 pm in the ML Koser Indoor Auditorium at its sector 35 complex, Chandigarh..
Mr. ML Koser, a man with a vision , created a comprehensive cultural institution Pracheen Kala Kendra, which is not only a temple for Indian classical arts and artists but also promoting, preserving and disseminating Indian Classical Arts for the last seven decades . To give a humble tribute to Guru ML Koser on his 94th birth anniversary, Kendra organized this event. Secretary Shri Sajal Koser was present on the occasion . Many dignitaries associated with the Kendra also graced the occasion. Young and talented Amritsar based singer Manish Kabir won a lot of applause from the audience by giving a magical recital adorned with beautiful ghazals and sufi music.
Manish begins the evening with A.M. Turaz’s composition “Aaj Ibadat followed by captivating song Saanu ik pal chain na aawe . Then he moved on to present Dum Dum jhule laal and a famous ghazal Niyat e Shauq bhar na jaye kahin which was applauded by the audience.
The audience was mesmerized by his next set of beautiful and heart touching songs like Tu Maane ya na maane dildaara and Ranjheya ve , Kiwe Mukhre to najra hatawan followed by traditional qalams like Mahiya ve mera tere naal , Ve Mahiya tere vekhan nu, Akhiyan udeek diyan and Nit Khair Manga , Mera Piya Ghar aaya O Laalni , Arzaan Qabool hai “ filled listener’s heart with joy and happiness. He concluded his recital with Shukrana Tera Shukrana . He was well accompanied on stage by Gagandeep Dang on Dholak , Devender Kumar on guitar , Lakshay Kumar on Keyboard, Pankaj kumar on flute, Jasbir kumar on vocals , Karan Singh on vocals, Vivek on tabla and Pardeep Kumar on Octapad Secretary Sh. Sajal Koser felicitated the artists by presenting Uttriya and Mementos.
